Treasure is transitory, illusory.
One person’s treasure is another person’s junk.
What was once treasured now gathers dust on the shelf, in the attic, basement, on the table at the flea market.
The real treasure is what we hold inside us.
The feelings we have, for people, places, times.
The memories and hopes that can never turn to dust.
Treasure.

Great photo, but i love your words more, very touching xx
Thank you, was feeling a little melancholic this morning…x
but thats quite good i think, brings out ones muse!
..yes indeed…and always good to know there is an appreciative listener or two?
oh i think you have far more than one or two listeners!!! 😀 Far far more x
and some are better listeners than others….x
I think ilisten i might have to think about thay but i do chat too!
You do both well! 🙂
awe thank you….blushes x
You are welcome 🙂
Both.. 🙂
oh ps you might like my recent post…no photography though 😀
I will read with pleasure!
yay x
Unbelievable, just read it, I said I needed to lie down, actually I think I need a stiff drink, and its only Monday! 😉
Lol reslly? What part affected you the most andy? Lol
Well, like you (I think) I suffer from terrible back pain, and usually end up standing on the bus or tram and swinging here there and everywhere (after which I can barely move for days). So I could feel your pain at that point. And then the whole gassy sage you described so well that I was relieved that WordPress have not yet invented a “smell this button” – maybe “google nose”?? Anyway, it reminded me of so many similar times, a bus ride in Spain at night for three hours where someone did the same thing – the whole time….
Oh crickey i did find an image of a fart button so whar you said and scratch and sniff did make me laugh. Yus maniacal drivers arent great for us unless we have arms like elastagirl! Tossing in turdy smells just adds to the misery lol. I should have a discreet mask in my handbag ready for these occassions 🙂 or a fart repellant i could spray at the offending article (person) x
Lovely. Words and image.
Thank you…
today more than the pic, your words created magic ! That is treasure 🙂
That is very touching, thank you…
Well said Andy, how true. A lovely photo with lovely words
Thank you 🙂
I like your take on today’s theme, as you said a bit of a personal one. Your sentiments are lovely. I also love Brugge!
Thank you Debbie… Brugge is beautiful although hard to tell from this photo
Nice one. I think they used them for milk back in the old days.
Thank you, and for the info! 🙂
I really like that line – The real treasure is what we hold inside us. How very true 🙂
Thank you, a statement shaped by various experiences…
