I have a bit of an obsession having visited there twice…the story is infuriating. Mixing it in with Malcolm X was just a general rage at the machine scream….
What’s the story behind it? If i may ask…
last of the “polder” villages. Force purchased years ago by government and port to facilitate expansion. Residents objected, Flemish government sent in riot police to force them out and destroy property.. years later the port has not extended and around 400 residents remain amid scenes of chaos and outrage…

People who live there now in some isolated houses that survived , its worth a visit if you can, and right next to a defective nuclear power station

That’s an outrage hearing the story so disgusting so pointless Urgh terrible 😦 I’d feel bad visiting and looking at others misfortune but I imagine photographically pretty intense. I feel I’m falling behind lookinf at everyone else’s your photos are so gritty x
