Your shadows might just as well be the foreshadowing of less shadowy things to come 😉
Do you read minds or have you some inside information? 😉
Maybe both? I wouldn’t know! Or, ok, I give up. I know.
I know…
Good.
Very nice shot!
Thank you Nathalie, it was amid all the Christmas madness, this guy had the right idea!
Would you really love to know what I think? Shadow is long over for the Chinese.
Ans the photos is great, btw.
There are some who might disagree, strongly, but I thank you and believe you may be right…
No doubts.
I really appreciate that Lucile…
Andy, I like the way the man is off-center and the way the edges are dark and out-of-focus. B&W works so well for this.

Thank you Janet, I really appreciate that!
Shadow is like an alarm clock, it helps us record and remember our dreams. I like the vignette portrayal ……..enigmatic
Thank you Andy! Yes, shadows are transitory and can hold darkness and light. And somewhere in between…
Sublime photo, I love the framing. I always enjoy seeing your quotes at the top of your posts too, they often remind me of a book I’ve fallen for and then forgotten about, The Bell Jar is definitely one of those.
Thank you, much appreciated! I do enjoy the process of thinking of a suitable quote, although I’m also conscious it could be seen as a rather lazy approach also 🙂
Only to those who don’t appreciate them 😉 I’d be flummoxed if I had to think of a quote for each of my photos, it’d be far quicker for me to write something, so you are definitely not being lazy, and it’s nice to share inspiring words that people may not otherwise have seen!
Thank you Laura, really appreciate that!
