Beautiful photo! I love Carlos Ruiz Zafon. And YES, of course, second and more chances in life! Remorses are normal when you make mistakes but they only go away when you are brave and give yourself a second chance to make things better with the experience.
A second chance can give you the best experience in life and the chance to amend mistakes.
You can practise what you learnt. Nothing better than a successfull second chance!
