Once a year, the streets of Brussel close to motorised traffic, well except for buses, taxis and people who think they know better.
And then, well then, the people take to the streets by cycle, scooter and board.

Hello Andy i know i am from Belgium and in my hometown the same story !!! Wonderfull no traffic 🙂 Your pictures are very beautiful !!
Thank you Nancy, much appreciated!
that should be done in every city way more often, great pics, Andy!
Thank you nalinki!
Great shots, Andy! Is it my imagination, or is that bike a little too large for the woman in the green jacket? Perhaps that’s why she’s walking it?
Thank you Amy! I think she was too small although I really didn’t realise until I saw the shot on my screen…
That must be a great day of the year, Andy. My husband loves cycling, so I’m sure he’d enjoy this.

Its certainly a lot of fun, although as a pedestrian the flocks of cyclist are even more scary than the usual motorised traffic!
Fun on wheels! Nice gallery!
Thank you, fun and dangerous for pedestrians!!
It was a fun day and the gallery is gorgeous.
