  1. Oooh oooh this would be perfect I need some pics for tomorrow am having a panic this is so perfect though can I can i? Pretty please

I am looking for a photo editor either Lightroom or photoshop but you mention othere there too? How do they compare?

Ps who is it in this photo? Love it x

    • Good morning, yes you can use it in your piece of course and thank you. I use aperture to manage all my photos with the Nik Efex Pro plugins which now come from Google. The best is silver efex pro for mono. I have photoshop but dont use it as much as should..

            • I probably have too many, and I am constantly experimenting and learning. My favourite are the plugins from Google / Nik. Photoshop is also something I am trying to learn. My main “hub” is Aperture 3 which organises and also edits, it is for Mac only and I love it but Apple are planning to phase it out next year, they will launch a new product but it may not offer all the same features, I thought about moving to Lightroom which does pretty much the same but I really don’t want to move away from Aperture…

            • ah yes, Lightroom, Photoshop and Corel are coming up on my radar, but i am slightly loathe to have a monthly amount coming out for a photo editor, so still thinking about it. Corel is far more reasonable cost wise, but then it doesn’t sort out the storage. I currently have lightroom on trial but havn’t managed to do anything than upload my photos yet lol, i looked at the dashboard and though uh oh what do i do next hehe x

            • you can buy it alone but only for a year which is a real bummer, the jury is still out as of yet lol, i need to see what the user interface is like for lightroom, it takes me a while to work these things out, I am def not a techy natural lol x

  2. Wow. This is a breathtaking photo…and reading the text…even more so…
Made me think of my time as a student in training at a Psychiatric institute.
Not sure Herman Hesse would say the same while there.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. That quote made me stop and ponder. As a writer, I have these moments of inspiration and write and write – a moment of madness, you can say. I don’t know if I want to pretend to be sane during these moments, I don’t think I do 🙂 Lovely poem. Dissonance comes and goes.

  4. love the duality here… and it very strongly reminds me of that famous quote by Salvador Dali: “There is only one difference between a madman and me. The madman thinks he is sane. I know I am mad…” 🙂 🙂

I would love to know what you think?
