“…said nothing for a time, just ran my fingertips along the edge of the human-shaped emptiness that had been left inside me”

she didn’t
(bench, leopoldpark, brussel)
*shot with nikon d700, processed in aperture 3 and analog efex pro 2, wet plate filter, oh and I defocused the camera and breathed on the lens*
Interesting photo but it’s the quote that gets me, caught me by surprise and made me catch my breath x
Thank you…it captured the mood and the feeling of that bench when i saw it and Murakami’s writing is often like that, spare and haunting..
I like spare and haunting x
The choice of words and photo fills the vacuum of any emptiness.
Thank you so much….I am enjoying developing this theme within the clinic..
The merit is yours, my dearest patient! Bring them in!
All thanks to the clinic’s management !
😘
Oh…and the care and support from fellow inmates 😉
You don’t breathe at the lens really? I was taught I must never ever put my mouth near the lens and must use only brush or air blower. It’s not like I obey.
I did and it was such a recklessly inadvisable thing but I was happy with the result… anyway the lens was wearing protection…
I can’t answer this, I’m laughing too hard. Because I’m twelve and easily amused.
