It is interesting that Ishiguro speaks about something rather than someone, which might be equally important. Speaking about things, though, my guess is that the supposedly thinly veiled vandalised photo might represent a room of one’s own, to steal the quote from Woolf?
I think, as you have seen, that someone could easily take the place of something in this quote.

I read maras comment on it being a vandalised photo i didnt see that so thats thrown me. Is it?
I saw it perhaps as some kind of makeshift carboard home with graffitti on or some kind of sprayed material that gives shelter for people on tne streets? As always an intriguing shot hmmm haha got my mind whirling as do the words 🙂
You are warm, there are people involved and perhaps the people are happy to emerge from the shelter?

omg everyones post this time for the Guessing Games are really hard and totally doing my head in lol, driving me insane.
