justine recently challenged us to present a photo and invite you to guess what it is.

My entry, the photo is featured above, was protect (me)

My photo was a cropped image of a large mural, painted on a wall in a narrow street in the heart of Brüssel, near the Grote Markt, I am not sure of the exact story but it does speak about gay rights, solidarity, and preservatifs (condoms). So, I thought it fitted the theme set by Justine quite snugly?

It was fun to see you guessing what it might be:

Justine thought it might be a cardboard home, a shelter for people on the street. Not a bad guess in some ways.

Mara felt it implied a room of one’s own. If a room of one’s own offers protection then that would also be a good guess.

desleyjane was intrigued by an artifact in the corner and then figured it was a book cover, well the cover part came close I guess?

Albert amusingly thought it might be graffiti on an airplane, and also thought he saw a fingerprint. I’m wondering what he was drinking or smoking?

(for justine’s eclectic corner , guessing game #4)

Consequences.

Photo 101 on WordPress had consequences.

One, there are others, was being invited to join Justine’s Eclectic Corner, a select group of bloggers, writers, poets, photographers and errr…me (yes, go figure)

So each week, a challenge will be laid down.

This week’s challenge is “guessing game”, the idea is that other members of the group must guess the subject matter of a photo in the style of a “wrinkle”.

So, here, the submission from belgianstreets and a huge round of applause to Justine for setting this up.

To play the game, leave your thoughts on the subject matter in the comments section below. All revealed here on belgianstreets on Saturday, 13 December.

You know you want to.

Consequences.
