Well, I started writing for the blog only when I took the Blogging 101 and then the Writing 101 challenge. It made me write regularly. Also, I’m kidding myself that when I practise writing on the blog, my professional writing for my job will become easier to do. So far it’s not helping too much.
What I like is now crisp and spare your writing is. No wasted words and each sentence is pithy and engaging.I imagine that comes across in your teaching also, i hope your students appreciate you!
Ha, this is funny, I’m often told, quite the contrary, that I tend to produce long winding sentences. Which is very much true, I’ve probably read too many Victorian novels. I do try to avoid repetition and redundancy though. I’m certainly no Hemingway, in the last analysis.
Well I can only comment on what I have read. And i like it. A lot.
